As a business, PVL is very keen to ensure that we never drive a wedge between ourselves and our customers. In fact if we ever find ourselves in the rough, we work hard to putt ourselves back in the position of trusted advisor, which is par for the course under normal circumstances.
Okay, we appreciate that we might have overdone the golfing puns a little bit, but we wanted to drive home the message (sorry…) that we have just sponsored the longest drive at East Hearts Golf Club. We are also going to be arranging our own golf day in 2012 and will be participating in the Fluid Power Association’s golfing events next year as well.
But it’s not all play, play, play here at PVL. The reason we are involving ourselves in the Fluid Power Association is our long standing collaboration with hydraulic and fluid power industries.
Perhaps the best place to tee off, if you want to find out more about the kind of work we do in these sectors, would be the pressure switches for hydraulics page on our Web site. Here you will find switches for a host of fluid power applications. In fact, you will find pressure switches for everything from bed pans to Trident nuclear submarines!
Flow switches are also common in the fluid power industry so, as you head into the back nine, it might be worth spending a few minutes on our flow switches for fluid power page. There are plenty of switches here ideal for mobile hydraulic and fluid power applications on the site, so it’s the perfect place to pause before filling up on a little fluid power of your own at the eighteenth hole.
If you want to take part in our 2012 golf day, either as a participant or a sponsor, give David Almond a call on 01892 664499. Equally, if you want advice on any fluid power, hydraulic or pneumatics applications, visit the web site (www.pvl.co.uk) or call the same number. We promise not to make any more awful golfing jokes if you do!
